Most college graduates similar to myself are very lost and out in the world for the very first time. We might have our parents as guidance, but oftentimes kids doubt their parents because that's what we are kind of raised to do (until we figure out they were right the whole time haha). That being said, having you as someone I could talk to, who has knowledge of the market, and was able to guide me one way or another was a massive help. For college grads, it's really easy to just do something for a little bit and then wonder "Is this not working? Should I switch to something else? Or have I not done it long enough?" I think you were able to answer that question every single time it was an issue which cannot be undervalued.
I tell my younger friends in college all the time when they are trying to get internships that they need to be focusing on bettering themselves, but instead they focus on I need to have A job right now, because that's how college students think. Meeting with you over time really helped reframe my mindset into one of bettering myself and looking for the right opportunities for me.
